Hall of Fame

The Utah Figure Skating Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding members who have represented Utah FSC nationally and internationally as officials, competitors, and performers.

Ida Tateoka, Olympic Judge 

Ida served in many leadership positions in both the Utah Figure Skating and United States Figure Skating Associations. Ida began judging figure skating in 1953 and became a national, international and world figure skating judge. She judged the figure skating competitions in the Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia in 1984. She judged numerous world and international competitions. She also judged national and international Special Olympic games. Ida was instrumental in bringing the 2002 Winter Olympic Games to Salt Lake City by representing the state of Utah at the Olympic announcement ceremony in Budapest, Hungary.
